Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44)
Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, LMVs (Passenger), HPVs, Private Cars, and HMVs (Goods carriers) shall be allowed to move from both directions on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), i.e., from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.
- TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar shall coordinate with TCU Ramban regarding the current road condition.
Security Forces Convoy Movement
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, Security Forces vehicles shall be allowed to move from both sides on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).
- They shall move only after confirming the status of the highway from TCU Ramban.
Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag NH-244
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, and after receiving a green signal from NHIDCL, only LMVs shall be permitted to move from both sides—from Anantnag towards Kishtwar and vice versa—on the Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag road.
- Vehicle movement shall be allowed from PP Parana and PP Daksum between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.
SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari)
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, and after clearance from the BRO, traffic movement shall be allowed in a regulated manner on the Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari road.
- From Minamarg → Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs
- From Sonamarg → Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs
- No vehicle shall be permitted after the cut-off timing
Security Forces convoys moving between Srinagar and Kargil shall plan their movement in a way that civil traffic (UP and DOWN) is not disturbed.
Mughal Road
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, and after receiving a green signal from Road Maintenance Agencies (GREF), LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars) shall be allowed to move from both directions—from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch.
- From Behramgala (Bafliaz): 0600 hrs to 1730 hrs
- From Herpora (Shopian): 0600 hrs to 1700 hrs
As per the advisory issued by District Magistrate Poonch vide No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025:
- HMVs (six tyres only) shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian
- No HMV shall be allowed from Shopian towards Mughal Road
TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will update all concerned regarding the latest traffic advisory and cut-off timings.
