PM Kisan 19th Installment Date: “On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme to the bank accounts of qualified farmers,” Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan remarked in a press conference. The Prime Minister will release the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme at a function in Bihar’s Bhagalpur on February 24, according to the Union Agriculture Minister.
9.8 crore farmers will receive a direct benefit transfer (DBT) of about Rs 22,000 crore in their bank accounts. Every beneficiary of the welfare scheme will receive three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months or an annual benefit of Rs 6,000.
Spending thus far is Rs 3.46 lakh crore.
Chouhan claimed that since the 18th installment, the total number of recipients has increased to 9.6 crore. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), the minister said the government has thus far distributed a total of Rs 3.46 lakh crore; following the release of the 19th installment next week, the figure will rise to Rs 3.68 lakh crore.
Launched in February 2019, the PM-KISAN scheme is the world’s biggest DBT (direct benefit transfer) system and aids farmers in covering the expenses of purchasing fertilizers and seeds.
On Monday, during his visit to Bihar, Chouhan said that the prime minister will also inaugurate a milk processing facility in Barauni and a center of excellence under the Gokul Mission.
Participants will include 2.5 crore farmers.
Providing specifics on the event scheduled for Bhagalpur, Chauhan said that roughly 2.5 crore farmers, both physically and online, are expected to participate. He stated that the Bihar governor, chief minister, and union ministers concerned for their state would also attend the event.
