The Prime Minister toured the entire Vantara facility, including a state-of-the-art wildlife hospital with advanced technology such as MRI machines, CT scans, and ICUs. Among the various specialty departments housed in the hospital are wildlife anesthesia, cardiology, nephrology, endoscopy, dentistry, and internal medicine. Following the Asiatic lion’s scan in the MRI room, Prime Minister Modi saw the operating theater where a leopard had life-saving surgery following a highway accident rescue.

He also visited several other sections where he interacted with successfully rehabilitated animals.

PM Modi shared a video from his meeting at Vantara, where he is feeding several species, such as Asiatic lion cubs, white lion cubs, and clouded leopard cubs, in what could be described as heartwarming movements.

He spent some close time with a golden tiger and snow tigers separated by a glass barrier. The hydrotherapy pools are also included in his visitation to assist the elephants in healing from arthritis and foot problems, and he witnessed the world’s largest elephant hospital performing its function.

PM Modi released rescued parrots into the center and interacted with the doctors, staff, and workers who manage the various facilities at Vantara.
