The Traffic Police Headquarters, Jammu and Kashmir, has issued the traffic plan and advisory for December 16, outlining vehicle movement on major highways and key roads across the Union Territory. The advisory is subject to fair weather conditions and road clearance by concerned agencies.
NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar National Highway)
Traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway will remain regulated due to single-lane stretches and congestion-prone locations.

- Strict lane discipline must be followed. Overtaking and wrong-lane driving may lead to traffic congestion.
Traffic movement will be coordinated by Traffic Control Units at Jammu, Srinagar and Ramban.
