Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44)
Subject to fair weather and improved road conditions, LMVs (Passenger), HPVs, Private Cars, and HMVs (Goods carriers) shall be allowed to travel from both sides on the Jammu–Srinagar NHW (NH-44), i.e., from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.
- TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar shall coordinate with TCU Ramban to monitor the latest road condition.
Security Forces Convoy Movement
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, Security Forces vehicles shall be permitted to move both ways on the Jammu–Srinagar NHW (NH-44).
- SF convoys must move only after confirming the status of the highway from TCU Ramban.
Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)
Subject to fair weather and after receiving a green signal from NHIDCL, only LMVs shall be allowed to ply from both directions—from Anantnag towards Kishtwar and vice versa.
- Movement of LMVs shall be allowed from PP Parana and PP Daksum between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.
Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari (SSG) Road
Subject to fair weather and clearance from BRO, traffic shall be allowed in a regulated manner on the Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari road.
- From Minamarg to Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs.
- From Sonamarg to Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs.
- No vehicle shall be allowed after the cut-off timings.
Security Forces convoys between Srinagar and Kargil shall plan movement so that civil traffic (UP and DOWN) is not disturbed.
Mughal Road
Subject to fair weather and clearance from GREF, LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars) shall be allowed to travel both ways—from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch.
- From Behramgala (Bafliaz): 0600 hrs to 1730 hrs
- From Herpora (Shopian): 0600 hrs to 1700 hrs
- As per advisory issued by District Magistrate Poonch, No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025.
HMVs (six tyres only) shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian.
- No HMV shall be allowed from Shopian towards Mughal Road.
TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will update all concerned regarding the advisory and cut-off timings.
