  • HMVs shall be allowed on alternate days.
  • TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing this traffic.

Cut-off Timings for LMVs / Passenger / Private Cars

From Jammu (Nagrota) → Srinagar: 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs
From Srinagar (Qazigund) → Jammu: 0700 hrs to 1000 hrs

  • No vehicle shall be allowed to move before or after the cut-off timings.
  • LMVs going towards Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban from Jammu shall be allowed from Nagrota between 0800 hrs and 1100 hrs.
  • LMVs/HMVs coming from Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban towards Jammu shall be permitted, but must cross Nashri Tunnel before 1200 hrs.

TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about traffic advisories and cut-off timings.

HMVs / Load Carriers

Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu.

  • Movement shall be regulated from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) after assessing road and traffic conditions.
  • TCU Srinagar shall coordinate with TCU Ramban regarding HMV movement.

Security Forces Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised not to ply against the advisory/traffic plan, due to possible congestion caused by narrow carriageways between Tharad–Balinallah/Marog and Kishtwar Pathar on NH-44.

  • Tomorrow, SF convoys may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu, subject to confirmation from TCU Ramban.

Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)

Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, and after receiving a green signal from NHIDCL, only LMVs shall be allowed to move from both sides (Anantnag ↔ Kishtwar).

  • From PP Parana → Anantnag: 0800 hrs to 1500 hrs
  • From PP Daksum → Kishtwar: 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs

As per orders issued by:

  • SDM Chhatroo: No. SDM/C/2025-26/530-37 dated 15-09-2025
  • SDM Kokernag: No. SDM/KNG/665-71 dated 16-05-2025

SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari)

Subject to fair weather and road clearance from BRO, traffic shall be allowed in a regulated manner on the SSG Road.

  • Minamarg → Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs
  • Sonamarg → Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs
  • No vehicle shall be permitted after cut-off timing.

SF convoys moving between Srinagar and Kargil must plan their movement to ensure civilian traffic (UP and DOWN) is not disturbed.

Mughal Road

Subject to fair weather and after clearance from GREF, LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars) shall be allowed from both directions (Jammu ↔ Srinagar via Poonch).

  • From Behramgala (Bafliaz): 0600 hrs to 1730 hrs
  • From Herpora (Shopian): 0600 hrs to 1700 hrs

As per advisory issued by District Magistrate Poonch, No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025.

  • HMVs (six tyres) carrying fresh fruits shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian.
