Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44)
A landslide at Mehad, Ramban, has closed the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Heavy rain is delaying restoration efforts. We advise commuters to avoid traveling on this route until the weather improves and the road receives clearance. A decision on reopening will be made tomorrow based on the road’s condition and clearance from maintenance teams.
Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag NH-244
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Kokernag, has issued an advisory (Order No. SDM/KNG/2024-25/3139-45, dated 16-01-2025) closing this road to traffic.
SSG Road (Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari)
This route remains closed due to snow accumulation.
Mughal Road
The District Magistrate Poonch’s order (No. DMP/JC/7273-92, dated 18-01-2025) has closed the area for vehicular movement due to heavy snow.
Bhaderwah-Chamba Road
Snow continues to block this road.
