To tackle this problem of passengers, the railway has announced various special trains on different routes. Operating 01 Vande Bharat Special and 15 pairs of Holi Special trains between several Bihar stations, including New Delhi and Patna in this series, it has determined.
Patna Vande Bharat Special New Delhi
Train number 02436 New Delhi-Patna Except Monday, the Vande Bharat Special train will leave New Delhi at 08.30 hrs from 08 March to 20 March and reach Patna at 22.30 hrs on the same day. In turn, train number 02435 Patna-New Delhi, except for Tuesday, Vande Bharat Special, will leave Patna at 05.30 hours from 09 March to 21 March. It will arrive in New Delhi at 20.10 hours on the same day. Patliputra, Chhapra, Ballia, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Kanpur would all pass by this train. Officials claim that the Patna to Delhi Vande Bharat train is the longest-distance Vande Bharat Express running nationwide. It will travel roughly one thousand kilometers. It is expected to be made regular following Holi.
Special Train for the Delhi-Patna Festival
Starting from Delhi at 23.55 hours daily from 07 March to 17 March, train number 04062 Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special will arrive in Patna at 16.40 hours the next day. Train number 04061 Patna-Delhi Superfast Festival Special will leave Patna at 17.50 hrs daily from 07 March to 18 March and arrive in Delhi at 10.25 hrs the following day. This train will pass Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, and DDU.
Special Train Event for Anand Vihar-Rajgir
Starting from Anand Vihar at 00.20 hrs on 07, 11, 14, and 18 March, train number 04070 Anand Vihar-Rajgir Superfast Festival will reach Rajgir at 19.50 hrs on the same day, stopping at Patna Junction at 16.15 hrs. Train number 04069 Rajgir-Anand Vihar Superfast Festival will depart Rajgir at 23.30 hrs on 07, 11, 14, and 18 March and reach Anand Vihar at 19.00 hrs, stopping at Patna Jn. and other stops at 02.10 hrs the next day. This train will pass via Prayagraj, DDU, and Patna.
Special Train New Delhi-Bhagalpur
Train number 04068 New Delhi-Bhagalpur Festival will leave New Delhi at 14.00 hrs on 09, 12, 16, and 19 March and arrive at Bhagalpur at 13.30 hrs, stopping at Patna Jn. and other stations around 06.45 hrs the next day. Train number 04067 Bhagalpur-New Delhi Festival will leave Bhagalpur at 14.30 hours on March 10, 13, 17, and 20 and arrive at Patna Jn. at 20.50 hrs on the return journey. The next day at 14.30 it will arrive in New Delhi, stopping at various stops like Jamalpur. This train will pass via Mokama, Patna, DDU, Prayagraj, Jamalpur, and Kiul.
New Delhi-Saharsa Festival Special Train
Train number 04066 New Delhi-Saharsa Festival Special will depart from New Delhi at 21.35 hrs on 10, 13, and 17 March and reach Saharsa at 22.00 hrs the next day. Train number 04065 Saharsa-New Delhi Festival Special will leave Saharsa at 23.55 hrs on 07, 11, 14, and 18 March and reach New Delhi at 23.30 hrs the next day. This train will travel to Barauni, Samastipur, Hajipur, Patliputra, DDU, and Prayagraj.
Anand Vihar-Jayanagar Festival Special Train
Train number 04014 Anand Vihar-Jayanagar Festival Special will leave Anand Vihar at 05.00 hrs on 10, 13, and 17 March and arrive at Jaynagar at 12.00 hrs the next day. Train number 04013 Jaynagar-Anand Vihar Festival will leave Jaynagar at 17.00 hrs on 07, 11, 14, and 18 March 2025 and arrive in Anand Vihar at 19.55 hrs the next day on the return trip. This train will go via Darbhanga, Samastipur, Hajipur, Patliputra, DDU, and Lucknow.
