As declared by the finance minister, the DA of government employees would increase to 53 percent. Employees will get their March salary plus an extra dearness allowance in April.

DA Hike 2025: CG Staff There is hopeful news for the employees of the Chhattisgarh government. The state’s Vishnudev Sai government gave its employees a significant gift before Holi. The DA dropped from 50 to 53 percent when the state government increased the staff dearness allowance by 3 percent. Starting in March 2025, the revised prices will be relevant.
On Tuesday, the Chhattisgarh government announced a budget of Rs 1.65 lakh crore. Then, Finance Minister OP Choudhary announced a 3 percent increase in the dearness allowance for state employees, bringing the total to 53 percent. Rising in Dearness Allowance in October

Earlier, the Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh had boosted the dearness allowance of the state employees by 4% in October before Diwali. Consequently, the government increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) from 46% to 50%. The changed tariffs were implemented beginning on October 1, 2024. DA has again increased by 3%; the new rates will be pertinent starting in March 2025. In such a situation, the DA of state personnel and the Center might vary by 2 to 3 percent even if the Central Government is ready to raise DA once more in January 2025 in March. Today, the DA of the state staff members matches that of the Center.”

This budget gives the Public Relations Department Rs 550 crore. The budget for enlarging and renovating the Press Club building in Raipur is Rs 1 crore. The budget for reporters’ exposure visits to colleagues is one hundred thousand rupees. We will triple Patrakar Samman Nidhi from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000.

It is worth noting that earlier, the Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh had increased the dearness allowance of the state employees by 4 percent in October before Diwali, after which DA was increased from 46% to 50%. The new rates were implemented from 01 October 2024. Now once again DA has been increased by 3 percent, the new rates of which will be applicable from March 2025. Now the DA of the state employees has reached the same level as the Center, although the Central Government is preparing to increase DA again from January 2025 in March, in such a situation, there may be a difference of 2 to 3 percent in the DA of state employees and the Center again.
