Agra, March 1: A tragic accident occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway early Saturday morning when a bus traveling from Varanasi to Jaipur crashed into a stationary truck, resulting in four deaths and 19 injuries, according to local police.
The incident took place around 5:30 AM in the area of the Fatehabad police station in Agra. Authorities said the bus collided with the truck from behind.

ACP Fatehabad, Amardeep Lal, confirmed the dispatch of the deceased’s bodies for post-mortem. One of the victims has yet to be identified. “All the injured passengers have been transported to nearby hospitals with the help of ambulances,” he added.
We have identified three of the deceased: Govind (68) and Ramesh (45), both from Rajasthan and Deepak Verma (40) from Agra. A private hospital treats four injured, and a government facility has admitted the remaining.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
