NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has cracked the whip. - Bank Guarantee: The airline has been ordered to submit a ₹50 Crore Bank Guarantee to ensure they don’t repeat this meltdown.

Between December 3 and December 5, 2025, IndiGo’s operations completely collapsed, leading to a nightmare for travelers.
- The Numbers: 2,507 Flights Cancelled and 1,852 Delayed.
- The Impact: Over 3 Lakh passengers were left stranded at airports across India.
