  • LMVs, HPSVs, private cars and HMVs (goods vehicles) will be allowed from both Jammu and Srinagar, depending on road conditions.
  • Drivers are strictly advised to follow lane discipline and avoid overtaking or wrong-lane driving to prevent traffic jams.

Movement will be regulated by Traffic Control Units in Jammu, Srinagar, and Ramban.

🚛 Security Forces Convoy Movement

Security Forces convoys will be allowed to travel on NH-44 only after road status confirmation, ensuring smooth flow of civilian traffic.

Subject to a green signal from NHIDCL and fair weather:

  • Only LMVs will be allowed from both sides.
  • Movement will be permitted between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm from points like PP Parana and PP Daksum.

Travelers are advised to confirm the route status before starting.

Movement will be allowed depending on clearance from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO):

  • Minamarg → Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 5:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • Sonamarg → Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm.

No movement will be allowed after the cut-off timings.

🚘 Mughal Road / Poonch–Shopian Axis

Subject to fair weather and maintenance clearance:

  • Private vehicles and LMVs will be allowed between Behramgala (Bafliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) during fixed timings.
