About 8km from the International Border, Sarjal Camp is a JeM establishment across Samba-Kathua.

Operation Sindoor | Main Points of Interest
Following effective strikes on terrorist facilities in Pakistan and PoK as part of “Operation Sindoor,” the Indian Army said “Justice is served.”
The Ministry of External Affairs of Pakistan verified that employing standoff weapons, the Indian Air Force struck targets across the International Border in Muridke and Bahawalpur as well as across the LoC in Kotli and Muzaffarabad while still inside Indian airspace.
Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General responded by warning that India’s “temporary pleasure will be replaced by enduring grief,” adding Islamabad would respond at a time and place of their choosing, vowing that the strikes “will not go unpackled.”
Rising tensions caused all of the educational institutions in the border districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch to close on Wednesday. Additionally ordered closed are schools in Rajasthan and Punjab border districts.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said at a press conference that since the Pahalgam assault Pakistan has not acted against terrorist infrastructure. He underlined that Lashkar-e-Taiba is connected to the Resistance Front, which took ownership of the attack.
