The PhD admission process at Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University will start in the fourth week of March. This year, it will conduct its entrance examination for those subjects that need not go through UGC NET. Admission will be based on merit for those subjects covered under UGC NET.
Interviews will be called for all successful Joint Entrance Exams (NET-JRF and PhD), with final selection based on a weightage of 70 percent for NET-JRF scores and 30 percent for interview performance.
Vice-Chancellor Akhilesh Kumar Singh reported that the university will soon call for PhD guides from its campuses and affiliated colleges, and seat allocation for PhD programs will commence in due course. The university will release an advertisement formally announcing it soon.
There was no PhD admission last year.
PhD admissions for 2024 took place at the university’s own discretion for unforeseen reasons. The university had intended to hold entrance examinations through NET-JRF and Joint Entrance Examinations, but it failed to do so on schedule.
UG-PG admissions begin in April.
The university will start admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses sometime around April. Admission for professional courses will take place through the Joint Entrance Examination, while traditional classes will be based on merit. Stay safe for other updates!
