1. Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44)
Subject to fair weather and improved road conditions, LMVs (passenger vehicles), HPVs, private cars, and HMVs (goods carriers) shall be allowed from both directions — Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa.
- Traffic Control Units (TCUs) at Jammu and Srinagar will coordinate with TCU Ramban to monitor and assess the road condition.
2. Security Forces Convoy Movement
Subject to fair weather and satisfactory road conditions, Security Forces vehicles will be permitted to move both ways on the Jammu–Srinagar NHW (NH-44) — from Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa.
- Convoy movements must be carried out after confirming the status of the highway from TCU Ramban.
3. Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)
Subject to fair weather and clearance from NHIDCL, only LMVs will be allowed to ply from both directions — Anantnag to Kishtwar and vice versa — on the Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag road.
- Timings: Vehicle movement will be permitted from PP Parana and PP Daksum between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.
4. Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari (SSG) Road
Subject to favorable weather and clearance from BRO, traffic will be allowed in a regulated manner on the Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari road.
- From Minamarg to Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs will be allowed from 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs.
- From Sonamarg to Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs will be allowed from 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs.
- No vehicle shall be allowed after the cut-off timings.
- Security Forces convoys moving between Srinagar and Kargil must plan their movements to ensure civilian traffic (both up and down) is not affected.
5. Mughal Road
Subject to fair weather and clearance from GREF, LMVs (passenger/private vehicles) will be allowed from both directions — Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch.
- From Behramgala (Bafliaz): 0600 hrs to 1730 hrs
- From Herpora (Shopian): 0600 hrs to 1700 hrs
- As per District Magistrate Poonch advisory No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025.
- HMVs (six tyres only) shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian.
- No HMV shall be allowed from Shopian towards Mughal Road.
- TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will keep all concerned informed about the latest traffic advisories and cut-off timings.
