1. Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44)
Subject to fair weather and improved road conditions, LMVs (passenger vehicles), HPVs, private cars, and HMVs (goods carriers) will be allowed from both directions — Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa.
- Traffic Control Units (TCUs) at Jammu and Srinagar will coordinate with TCU Ramban to assess and monitor the latest road conditions.
2. Security Forces Convoy Movement
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, Security Forces vehicles will be permitted to move both ways on NH-44 — from Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa.
- Movements should take place only after confirming the status of the highway from TCU Ramban.
3. Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)
Subject to fair weather and after receiving clearance from NHIDCL, only LMVs will be allowed to move both ways — Anantnag to Kishtwar and vice versa.
- Timings:
- Movement will be allowed from PP Parana and PP Daksum between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.
4. Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari (SSG) Road
After receiving clearance from BRO and subject to favorable weather and road conditions, traffic movement shall be allowed in a regulated manner.
- From Minamarg to Srinagar: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs.
- From Sonamarg to Kargil: LMVs followed by HMVs allowed from 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs.
- No vehicle will be allowed to move after the cut-off timings.
- Security Forces convoys moving between Srinagar and Kargil must plan their movement to ensure civilian traffic (both up and down) is not disrupted.
5. Mughal Road
Subject to fair weather and clearance from GREF, LMVs (passenger and private cars) will be allowed from both directions — Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch.
- From Behramgala (Bafliaz): 0600 hrs to 1730 hrs
- From Herpora (Shopian): 0600 hrs to 1700 hrs
- As per District Magistrate Poonch advisory No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025.
- HMVs (six tyres only) will be allowed from Shopian towards Poonch.
- No HMV will be allowed from Poonch towards Mughal Road.
TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will issue regular updates regarding the latest advisories and cut-off timings.
