The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened registrations for the NEET UG 2025 exam. Aspiring medical students can now apply online through the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG 2025 Registration: Important Information
If you’re preparing for the NEET UG exam, this is a crucial update. The registration window is now live, and eligible candidates must complete their applications online before the deadline.
How to Register for NEET UG 2025
Follow these steps to successfully register for the exam:
- Visit the official NEET UG website – neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Application” link.
- Fill in your personal and academic details.
- Upload the required scanned documents.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Submit the application form.
- Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
NEET UG 2025 Exam Pattern
This year, the NEET exam will follow the pre-COVID-19 pattern, meaning Section-B has been removed. The paper will consist of:
- 180 multiple-choice questions
- Physics: 45 questions
- Chemistry: 45 questions
- Biology: 90 questions
- Total Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect answer
NEET UG 2025 Application Fee
The application fee varies based on category:
- General Category: ₹1,700
- EWS/OBC: ₹1,600
- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹1,000
- Foreign Centers: ₹9,500
NEET UG 2025 Exam Date & Result Announcement
- Exam Date: The exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM on the scheduled day.
- Expected Result Date: June 14, 2025
Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2025
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025.
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET.
- Applicants must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
