(New Delhi): With the New Year 2026 officially begun, millions of farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the next tranche of financial aid under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana. After the release of the 18th installment late last year, all eyes are now on the 19th Installment.

Here is the latest update on the release date, the beneficiary list, and the mandatory requirements to ensure the ₹2,000 credit reaches your bank account.

When Will the 19th Installment Be Released?

According to the scheme’s standard 4-month cycle, the PM Kisan installments are distributed in three periods:

  1. April-July
  2. August-November
  3. December-March (Current Cycle)

Expected Date: While the government has not announced an official date yet, media reports and past trends suggest the 19th installment will likely be released in February 2026.

  • Most Likely: Between February 15 and February 28, 2026.
  • Significance: The government often releases this tranche around the Union Budget session or just before the festival of Holi (which falls in early March this year) as a festive gift to farmers.

Urgent: 3 Things You Must Check to Receive Payment

Many farmers miss out on installments due to technical errors. To ensure you receive the ₹2,000 this time, verify these three statuses on the portal immediately:

  1. Land Seeding: Must be “YES”. If it says “NO,” visit your local Patwari or Agriculture Officer immediately.
  2. e-KYC Status: Must be “YES”. If not done, complete it via OTP on the PM Kisan app or visit a CSC center.
  3. Aadhaar Bank Seeding: Your bank account must be linked with Aadhaar and DBT-enabled.

How to Check Your Beneficiary Status (2026 Method)

Follow these steps to confirm if your name is on the 19th List:

  1. Visit the official website:
  2. Scroll down to the ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on ‘Know Your Status’.
  3. Enter your Registration Number. (If you forgot it, click on ‘Know Your Registration Number’ and use your Mobile/Aadhaar).
  4. Enter the Captcha code and get the OTP.
  5. Your dashboard will open. Check the “FTO Processed” column.
    • If it shows “Yes”, payment is confirmed.
    • If “No”, wait for the official announcement.

Is the Amount Increasing to ₹3,000?

There are rumors circulating on social media that the installment amount will be hiked to ₹3,000 (Total ₹9,000/year) in the upcoming 2026 Budget.

  • Fact Check: As of January 3, 2026, no official confirmation has been made. The current installment remains ₹2,000. However, farmers should keep an eye on the Union Budget in February for any potential announcements.

FAQs

Q: Can I do e-KYC from my mobile?

A: Yes, you can download the PM Kisan GOI App and complete e-KYC using Face Authentication or OTP.

Q: What if my Land Seeding is ‘No’?

A: You will NOT receive the installment. You must submit your land documents (Jamabandi/Fard) to the district agriculture office for physical verification.

Q: Helpline Number for PM Kisan?

A: If you have issues, call the official helpline: 155261 or 011-24300606.

Disclaimer: The release dates and installment details mentioned in this article are based on media reports and past trends. The Government of India has not yet announced the official date for the 19th Installment. Readers are advised to check the official portal pmkisan.gov.in for confirmed updates.
