1. Jammu–Srinagar NH-44
Road Situation (Last 24 Hours)
From 05 Dec, 1600 hrs to 06 Dec, 1600 hrs, slow movement was reported due to:

- Single-lane stretches at Ballinalla, Bewal, Nashri–Dalwas, and Marog–Kishtwari Pather
- Breakdown of two HMVs, causing additional delays
Travel Advisory
- Passengers and LMVs should prefer travelling during daylight.
- Heavy traffic between Nashri Tunnel and Navyug Tunnel, along with migrant return traffic from Kashmir, may cause delays.
- Follow lane discipline—no overtaking or wrong-lane driving.
Traffic Movement
- If weather and road condition improve, LMVs, HMVs, passenger vehicles, and private cars (in good condition) will be allowed from both sides.
- HMVs from Jammu to Srinagar will be allowed only after all up-bound HMVs within Ramban are cleared.
- Further timings will be issued by TCU Jammu/Srinagar.
2. Security Forces Convoy
- Convoy movement on NH-44 will be allowed both ways, depending on weather and road status.
- Movement will follow updates issued by TCU Ramban.
3. Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)
- With good weather and a clearance from NHIDCL:
- HMVs and LMVs will be allowed from Kishtwar to Anantnag and vice versa.
- Allowed timing: 0900–1700 hrs.
- All vehicles must cross DP Paksu by 1500 hrs.
4. SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari)
(As per BRO clearance and weather)
- Morning (0700–1130 hrs): Traffic allowed from Minamarg (Kargil side) to Srinagar.
- Afternoon (1130–1730 hrs): Traffic allowed from Sonamarg to Kargil.
- No movement allowed beyond the cut-off timings.
- Travelers are advised to move early to prevent congestion.
5. Mughal Road (Shopian–Poonch)
(Subject to fair weather and PWD clearance)
- LMVs and private/passenger cars in good condition will be allowed both ways between Srinagar and Poonch.
- Movement allowed between 0600 hrs and 1730 hrs, as per District Magistrate Poonch’s advisory (Order No. DM/PJ/983-918, dated 30-11-2025).
- No HMVs are allowed on this road.
- TCUs will regulate movement as per updated road and weather conditions.
