NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar National Highway)
From 08-12-2025 (1600 hrs) to 09-12-2025 (1600 hrs), slow traffic movement was reported on NH-44 due to:

- Single-lane stretches at Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri–Dalwas, and Marog–Kishtwari Pather
- Breakdown of two HMVs, causing additional delays
Travel Advisory for Passengers & LMVs
- Prefer daytime travel on Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).
- Avoid night travel, as continuous HMV movement between Nashri Tunnel and NAVYUG Tunnel may inconvenience commuters.
- Maintain lane discipline—overtaking or wrong-lane driving may lead to traffic congestion.
Traffic Plan for 10-12-2025
Subject to fair weather and improved road conditions:
- LMVs, HPSVs, Private Cars, and Goods HMVs will be allowed both ways (Jammu ↔ Srinagar) on NH-44.
- TCU Jammu/Srinagar will coordinate with TCU Ramban regarding real-time road status.
Security Forces Convoy Movement
- SF convoys will be permitted both ways, weather and road conditions permitting.
- All SF movement must begin after confirmation from TCU Ramban.
Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Road (NH-244)
With favourable weather and approval from NHIDCL:
- Only LMVs will be allowed both sides (Anantnag ↔ Kishtwar).
- Vehicles will be permitted from:
- PP Parana
- PP Daksum
- Timings: 1000 hrs to 1500 hrs
SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumari)
Subject to BRO clearance and good weather, traffic will move in a regulated manner:
Minamarg → Srinagar:
- LMVs followed by HMVs
- Timing: 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs
Sonamarg → Kargil:
- LMVs followed by HMVs
- Timing: 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs
No vehicle allowed after cutoff timings.
SF convoys must plan movement to ensure civilian traffic is not disrupted.
Mughal Road
Subject to fair weather and clearance from GREF:
- LMVs (Passengers/Private Cars) will be allowed both ways (Jammu ↔ Srinagar) via Poonch.
- Movement Timings:
- From Behramgala (Baffliaz): 0600–1730 hrs
- From Herpora (Shopian): 0600–1700 hrs
- As per DM Poonch Order No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025
- HMVs (six tyres only) will be allowed from Poonch → Shopian.
- No HMV will be allowed from Shopian → Poonch on Mughal Road.
- TCU Jammu and Srinagar will issue updates on advisory and cutoff timings.
